BURYL LEE CALAHAN

Buryl Lee Calahan, age 73, passed away at his home on Saturday, April 1, 2017. He was born February 9, 1944 in Culver City, Calif.

Lee proudly served in the U.S. Army from 1962-1967. He was stationed in Goppingen, Germany and loved his job in the Signal Corps.

After the Army, Lee had a variety of jobs: from gas stations to a Volkswagen repair shop to a fence company and finally settling with So. Calif. Edison for 24 years.

He had many hobbies and interests and loved building a model railroad in his home. Lee loved the outdoors, no matter what he was doing, such as riding his PWC’s or ATC’s in the forest with his wife, Donna. He also enjoyed watching sports on TV. His favorites were NASCAR, drag racing, football and baseball.

Lee is survived by his wife of 38 years, Donna; son, David (Tracy); and grandson, Braiden.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 21, 2017 at Desert Lawn Cemetery, 9250 S. Ranchero Lane, Mohave Valley, Ariz.
